I may be a pet photographer, but I also believe in sharing information that makes our lives easier, more fun and rewarding with our pets
Catching up with friends while taking your best friend along is really quite easy in Broome. I got in touch with cafes in town to find out who would allow you to bring your dog with you, and to my surprise, pretty much all of them said yes.
As you can expect, a little etiquette is expected. Dogs need to remain on leads and in an area they can’t be tripped over, such as under the table (they’ll be there cleaning up the crumbs you drop for them anyway).
Ideally, you should be carrying water for your dog already, but some cafes will also have a water bowl out, and most will give you some water for the pooch if you ask for it as well. Keeping them hydrated will help keep them happy while you sip your cuppa.
Below is a list, grouped by area of the cafes I have spoken to who said yes to dogs (and some even admitted they love when dogs come as they can sneak in a cheeky pet).
